xPad is a great replacement for TextEdit and Stickies, very useful for students, business people and writers.
You can keep all your notes in one place, and sort them by category. Getting your notes out is easy - export them into plain text, or RFT files.
xPad is especially useful for writers because the Info palette gives you the word count in the current document.
